We Love

Ohio

Ohio is a state in the Midwestern region of the United States. Of the fifty states, it is the 34th-largest by area, and with a population of just over 11.8 million, is the seventh-most populous and tenth-most densely populated.

This property was purchased in early 2020 and since, we have upgraded the landscaping, renovated 3 units, replace the gutters and roof and some exterior cosmetic work.  We are planning to paint the exterior in the summer of 2023.

Dayton, Ohio

Strive @ Davue

Strive @ Davue was the second property added to our portfolio. At the time of acquisition, the building had significant deferred maintenance—an intentional criterion in our strategy to identify properties where thoughtful reinvestment can create long-term stability and value. The property is located in the Fairview neighborhood, a historically Black community that has experienced long-term underinvestment, making it well aligned with Strive’s mission to reinvest in underserved neighborhoods while preserving affordability and community stability.

The property features spacious two-bedroom units with hardwood flooring, ample parking, on-site storage, and laundry facilities. It is conveniently located near shopping and public transportation and is situated within a welcoming residential neighborhood.

This is one of our favorite communities.  Built in 1941, the architecture is superb.  Solid brick exteriors, redwood hardwood floors, moldings and wall paneling.  Original bathroom tile and character.  Since onboarding the property, we have remodeled two units and several plumbing upgrades.

Cincinnati, Ohio

Strive @ Losantiville

Strive @ Losantiville is a Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) that was initially identified through the Strive Wealth Builders network and presented to our team as a strategic partnership opportunity. The property was operated under a one-year partnership structure, after which the partnership concluded, and Strive Real Estate is now the sole owner.

The property is located in the Roselawn neighborhood, a historically Black community that has experienced long-term underinvestment and remains home to many low-income residents. Roselawn is a vibrant area offering access to parks, shopping, dining, and nightlife, and is conveniently situated just minutes from downtown Cincinnati.

The community features spacious one-bedroom units, private garages, on-site storage, a laundry room, and shared common areas. The property is within close proximity to higher-income neighborhoods, major highways, and key regional amenities, supporting both resident stability and long-term neighborhood connectivity.

The property is located along a main corridor near downtown, within an area undergoing significant reinvestment and physical transformation. New community amenities have been introduced, and the City has committed to continued redevelopment efforts aimed at strengthening the neighborhood and expanding access to resources.

The property sits within the Old Dayton neighborhood, a historically Black community that has experienced long-term disinvestment. In recent years, the area has also seen increased demographic diversity as new households have moved into the neighborhood, reflecting broader market interest and ongoing revitalization activity.
